Kikuyu turf has vigorous growth habits and is easy to grow. Kikuyu's appearance is made up of a broad leaf and is of a broad runner style. Kikuyu grows best in full sun areas and will struggle in shaded areas.
Kikuyu can tolerate heavy wear but requires mowing once a week through summer and may send runners into your garden. Fertilise in spring with a slow release fertiliser and again at the end of summer.

SeaIsle Paspalum grass has good drought tolerance under proper management which produces a high quality turf grass with excellent wear tolerance. SeaIsle Paspalum can tolerate a wide range of water resources, including potable water and seawater as well as variable quality recycled water. Grand Prix couch grass is the first couch grass released onto the Australian market that is the result of a breeding program conducted in Australian conditions.
Grand Prix is a high density, medium leaf textured turf, which is dark green in colour with a short leaf that is medium to fine in texture. It has excellent wear tolerance compared to other couches on the market and produces low seed head numbers producing a hard wearing surface.
As a couch grass it requires at least 6-7 hours of full sunlight per day and is not suitable for shaded areas.
